Tim Notter and The Orbit Room have a new home in the Redwood Theatre.
Since March 2023, Tim has filled the Redwood with some of the core acts and long time supporters and music fans with sounds from the past, and of today.
More shows are being added every week.

The Story
"Today is March 16 and it is the 4th anniversary of the closing of the Orbit Room at 580a College Street. After 25 years, more than 8500 live shows, dozens of bands, hundreds of musicians and thousands music loving fans, the door closed forever. There are now apartments where the club used to be. It was an Italian restaurant before my partners and I took it over. I wanted to promote R&B and Soul music, the kind that is known as the Toronto Sound, hence, the Hammond organ that I wanted to be a part of all the bands that played there. It was always funny to me that the club's postal code was m6g 1B3.
Well, far too many great memories to recount here right now. I'm sure that you all have your favourites. Thanks again to all of you, staff , musicians and fans for keeping the place alive for 25 years. I'm now booking bands at the Redwood Theatre in the east end."
